Ohio was nasty, weatherwise. Freezing rain, sleet, all kinds of good stuff. This is an actual picture of our car when we crossed the state line into West Virginia.
Ahh Ohio. Did you see West Virginia's state slogan as you crossed into the state? It used to be "Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia" ...which isn't Shakespeare, but, you know, it is kinda catchy. Then someone decided it ought to be changed it to "Open for Business" ....

Andrew N. "Marcus" Corder graduated from Whitworth College in 2006. He and his lovely wife Anna, Whitworth '05, moved cross-country from Portland, OR to Virginia Beach, VA in February of 2008. Now they're headed back to the northwest. Follow along as they trek across the southern US in the middle of summer. (Good idea.)
